Baisakhi: Where Indian Culture Diverge

Baisakhi: Where Indian Culture Diverge

In North India especially Punjab celebrates the Baisakhi festival with great joy and gaiety. On the beat of drums and drums, young men and women sing songs welcoming this celebration of nature and express their joy by congratulating each other and dancing danced around. So Baisakhi comes and reminds the youth of Punjab. At the same time, she reminds of the brotherhood where the mother used to dedicate her son to the Guru's feet to make a loan to the ten gurus.

By the way, months in India are named after constellations. Visakha Nakshatra is in the sky at the time of Baisakhi. This month is called Baisakhi due to being in Visakha Yuva Purnima. Thus, the first day of Vaishakh month was called Baisakhi and was accepted as a festival. On the day of Baisakhi, the Sun transits into Aries, hence it is also called Aries Sankranti.

The tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh laid the foundation of the Khalsa Panth in the year 1699 at Anandpur Sahib on the day of Baisakhi. Its 'Khalsa' is derived from the word Khalis. Which means - pure, holy or holy. The main goal of Guru Gobind Singh behind the establishment of the Khalsa-Panth was to liberate the people from the atrocities of the then Mughal rulers and to improve their religious, moral and practical life.

Through this creed, Guru Gobind Singh also gave the people a vision of giving importance to human feelings in mutual relations instead of discriminating based on religion and caste. According to Sikhism experts, the first Guru of the sect, Nanak Dev ji, has earned much praise from the spiritual practice of the month of Vaishakh. In many areas including Punjab and Haryana, there are many reasons including spiritual to celebrate Baisakhi.

Special festivities are celebrated in Sikh Gurdwaras on this day. Joy is expressed on the standing crop in the field. It is considered important to bathe in the holy rivers of North India on the occasion of Baisakhi festival. Therefore, it is our religion to bathe in the river in the morning on this day. Baisakhi is a folk festival in which the euphoria of preparing the crop after harvest is visible. This festival brings the whole world closer to India.

Baisakhi is not just a festival for sending messages and making dishes. This is the time to convert the hard work of farmers into prosperity. If this is not done, then Baisakhi will remain depressed. Today is Baisakhi. Opportunity for farmers to dance, dance and sing. With the new crop, their houses and courtyards are filled with money.

Goddess Lakshmi comes to their home as a Rabi crop and they swing. When this grain reaches our plate through the market, only then we can gather energy and heat for our life. But this time it is not so. The crops are ready and the fields are depressed.

This sadness of the fields has come on the faces of the farmers, in the next few months, it will come on our plate and then in the heat and energy of our life. This possibility may also be true if adequate arrangements are not made for harvesting and procuring the finished crop immediately. It is not a big deal that people who are posting pictures of delicious dishes in Quarantine due to COVID-19 on social media also have to face a food crisis.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter

The Delhi Lifestyle, Easter Sunday 2020 Wishes: Easter is one of the important festivals of the Christian community. This year Easter is on 12 April. Every year, Easter is celebrated all over the country, but this year due to the lockdown, people will celebrate this special festival at home. For the Christian people, this is the biggest festival after Christmas. Both festivals are celebrated as the birthday of Christ Jesus. The word Easter originates from the German word which means goddess. It is considered by the Christian community as the goddess of spring and the goddess of fertility. Due to which there are festivals in April to please. This festival is still celebrated in Europe. Easter is celebrated in the joy of Christ's resurrection. According to the beliefs of Christianity, Jesus was resurrected on the third day of Good Friday, which is celebrated by the people of Christianity as Easter Sunday. Easter is also known as the Day of Resurrection or the Day of Resurrection Sunday.

How Easter is celebrated?

The first week of the Easter festival is called Easter Week. During this time people of Christianity pray and keep fast. All the churches are specially decorated at the Easter festival. On this day, candles are lit in the church. Many people of Christianity also light their houses on this day with candles. The Bible is recited exclusively on Easter Day. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak this year there is a situation of lockdown worldwide and hence everyone will celebrate this festival in their homes.

Believes Behind Easter
According to the beliefs of the Christian community, Christ was crucified on the hills of Jerusalem thousands of years ago on Good Friday. After this, on the third day of Good Fried, i.e. on the first Sunday, Jesus Christ was resurrected. After rebirth, Jesus Christ is believed to have been with his disciples for nearly 40 days. After this he went to heaven forever, so the celebration of the Easter festival is celebrated for 40 days. The people of the Christian community rejoice this festival with great pomp and enthusiasm.

Story of Easter Sunday

2 thousand years ago, the Jews and the Roman governor had crucified Jesus Christ on the mountain of Jerusalem. Due to which he died. It is believed that after the death of Jesus, his body was buried in the tomb. But three days after his death, Jesus Christ rose from the tomb on Sunday. It is also believed that the tomb of Jesus is still open today. After being alive, Jesus lived with his disciples for 40 days and come to visit thousands of people.
It is said that Jesus did not come to resurrect any religion or caste. Rather, he came to share the message of love and truth. For which Jesus also gave some messages. He said that "God the Father is one for all of us."
To celebrate Easter Sunday, the people of the Christian community gather in the church at night to light a candle and awaken the whole night by taking the name of Jesus Christ and remembering the message given by him. On Easter Sunday, everyone gathers again in the morning and celebrates Christ's resurrection by lighting a candle in the church. Worship Jesus and attend the Lord's Supper. After the banquet, one wishes the other to be alive again.

There is also a special tradition of the Christian community to celebrate Easter Sunday. On this day, after the Lord's Supper, everyone brings decorated candles to their homes and burns them and distributes these candles to their relatives and friends.
