What is Eve-Teasing?

The dress we wearing either it’s a kurta, skirt, Gown or a burka… no matter what we are wearing. Eve teasing is a social crime. It is the sexual harassment or molestation of women by men. It can be seen almost everywhere. Whenever you go to India, be in a mall, the bus stand, the railway station, the theater, colleges, schools, you can’t escape it.
Eve teasing and
molestation is the problem that face by women from all over in the world and
especially in India, grapple with every day. Usually, many women aren't aware
of laws and regulation that gives them protection against such acts.
People consider the
clothes of a woman provoke such uncouth behavior but the saddest truth is even
conservatively dressed Muslim women who wear a burka over their clothes leaving
only the visible eyes and feet are subjected to it. There are different levels
of eve-teasing. The saddest part of this eve-teasing the people we think our
protectors are the real culprit.
Women
are subjected to vulgar remark, catcall, outstretched hands that reach out for
their private parts, pinching. I have witnessed episodes of eve-teasing that
have left me feeling distressed that used and wishing I was not born a woman.
Woman avoid walking in
dark lanes and almost always avoid places that are deserted. And when they see
men in the group they try to avoid those place too. Women who are on the
vehicle are easy targets, bike chase them and they get even more hyper if an
attempt is made to speed up the vehicle.
This is a definite
pattern in which an eve teaser behaves. But, being silent in this situation
will make the rapist stronger. He gets, even more, encourage by girl’s silence.
The main problem, in this case, is the girl’s parents. They never want to raise
their volume against eve teasing. They will mute their daughter by telling some
worse situation if she tells anything to the police.
Everyone suffered molestation once in her life
but 1% of them who speaks. Eunoia supports only 1 % that has the potential to

No…
It just a word but trust
me... this word has the power to stop the crime against you or anyone. But the
guts to say no is very tough. Say No to stop and if you won’t tell, no one will
stop.

You have a phone right,
then take that Bastard’s picture. Post it on your social media and let the
people do what he deserves.

Think about how you feel
if, it was your mother, sister, daughter…its feels humiliating right? Do
exactly what you do if this ever happen. She is also someone’s sister, daughter
or wife.
